A family recipe for over three generations! In some Peranakan households, this is also known as 'Sambal Kering'. Sambal Kering or Sambal Tumis is a very versatile, ready-to-eat paste that has just the right balance of a fiery sweet and spicy taste and a tinge of sourness.

🧅🧄🌶️ Ingredients:
Handful of Peeled Bitter Beans
Handful of Prawns
Water
Agak-Agak Nyonya Sambal Tumis Paste (1 x 100g)
🍳 Cooking Instructions for Prawn Sambal with Bitter Beans:
Saute Agak-Agak Nyonya Sambal Tumis Paste with the above ingredients for 5 minutes.
Add prawns into the wok and stir until the prawns are cooked. Add water to liking.
Add in bitter beans and mix well.
Add salt and sugar to taste.
Turn off the gas and ready to serve.
🍚 Best served with rice!
