Allergies and Special Dietary Requirements Some of our products contain ingredients such as fish and shrimp and all our products are processed in a facility which processes nuts, seeds, dairy, wheat, fish, shrimp and other allergens. While we take steps to minimise the risk of cross contamination, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are safe to consume for people with peanut, tree nut, soy, milk, egg, wheat, fish, shrimp or other allergies. Storage and Consumption Our products do not contain any additives or preservatives. We are therefore unable to provide a guarantee as to the products will have the exact same taste and appearance for every batch. We are also unable to make a guarantee as to the length of time for which the products will remain fit for consumption. We do however recommend our products are best consumed within 1 month from delivery but they can be stored up to 3 months unopened. All unopened products need to be stored in a refrigerator or a cool dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight. Refrigerate it for best freshness. Once opened, products need to be kept in the refrigerator and to be consumed within 3 days. It is the responsibility of the customer to keep the products in the manner prescribed by us. Delivery Conditions Our products are to be delivered to you at a requested address. We deliver within Malaysia. It is essential that during delivery, someone is available to receive the products. Customers are responsible for paying the shipping cost for any second attempt of shipment. Komunal Solutions would not be held liable for any damage that is rendered to our products at the advised destination once the products has been delivered. We require the person receiving the products to check that they receive the products in good condition upon delivery. If product is found damaged upon receiving, customer should not accept the parcel and immediately return to the courier representative. Once the products have been delivered and signed for, Komunal Solutions is unable to accept any liability neither for any damage sustained to the products thereafter nor for any failure to follow the instructions provided. Force Majeure Neither we, nor any courier service that we use shall be liable for any failure to perform, where such failure or delay results from any circumstances outside our reasonable control including but not limited to any fire, flood, explosion, accident, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, government act, act of war, terrorism, act of God, or from any industrial dispute or strike whatsoever. Complaints We take all complaints very seriously. No, they are all 100% paste, with no added corn starch. Do your products contain any food allergens? Yes, some of our products contain ingredients such as fish and shrimp and all our products are processed in a facility which processes nuts, seeds, dairy, wheat, fish, shrimp and other allergens. How long can Agak-Agak Nyonya pastes be stored once opened or unopened? Our products do not contain any additives or preservatives. All Agak Agak Nyonya pastes are vacuum packed and retorted to last for 1 year if unopened. All unopened pastes need to be stored in a refrigerator or a cool dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight. Once opened, products need to be kept in the refrigerator and to be consumed within 1 week. Can I store the pastes in the freezer instead? Of course! Agak-agak means to guess or estimate, and this was how the Nyonyas of old measured their ingredients – by estimation.
